What is your Athletic Background?
I grew up playing pretty much every sport. I was more competitive with some less with others. I discovered my love for strength training when I was 14 years old, since then that passion has grown and lead me to discover that I enjoy spreading that passion to others. It is why I wanted to become a coach.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I found CrossFit in 2005. I didn't jump in with both feet right away. I was still training at a "Globo" Gym at that time. I would go in do my normal isolated body part "day", I would then do CrossFit "for Cardio". I became bored with each body part getting its own day after learning about CF and quickly began doing it full time. It was quick, fun, and super effective...needless to say I was hooked.
Pretty much any WOD that is short and heavy
Do you have any advice for someone thinking about starting CrossFit?
If you are interested or even curious about trying CrossFit you should come in and see for yourself. Our classes are scalable to ALL Levels (Literally!). You will know right away if it is for you or not…but you have to try it first!
