What is your Athletic Background?

  • I was a High School Cheerleader, Gymnast, and Dancer. I was an Endurance athlete from 1998-2002. I did half marathons, marathons and triathlons. I’ve done weight training and various group fitness classes since1999-2011. I began CrossFit in May 2011.

What brought you to Panhandle CrossFit?

  • My friend and longtime workout partner, Claire, talked me in to trying CrossFit with her.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

  • I have been doing CrossFit for three years this May(2014).

What is your favorite WOD?

  • Filthy 50!!

Do you have any advice for someone thinking about starting CrossFit?

  • Just start. We are normal, everyday people just trying to be more awesome at life! We are firefighters, stay-at-home moms, teachers, students, and athletes. Come and be more awesome!
